I also like that the white gold looks like stainless steel to the masses. You can enjoy wearing a gold watch without the extra attention and flare.

Absolutely stunning. I like the color blue more than black.If Rolex had to drop the depth rating of the Submariner to accommodate for a gold case, I can understand being angry, but the watch is designed to perform the exact same way. You get the same diving capabilities, same movement, just with a more expensive metal. I own a steel, black dial Submariner date and a new white Explorer ii. I’m tying to figure out what my next watch will be and the only one that I really feel excited about is the black dial Explorer ii. Congrats! Great watch! Wish there was a blue model in steel. The white gold Sub is like wearing a new SUV on your wrist!
