After one hundred and seventy years on the right bank, Hermes has decided to cross the Seine and embrace the future with a new store at 17 Rue de Sèvres in the ritzy Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood of Paris. The historical elements of the skylit Olympian-scale three-story atrium, with its rich mosaic tiling and balconies edged with elegant iron fretwork balustrades, vaguely recall the luxury and scale of grand department store interiors.
The Hermès store on Rue de Sèvres pays tribute to the house’s creativity and know-how and invites loyal customers and new visitors to enjoy a unique experience. It brings together the abundant collections and exceptional craftsmanship of the Parisian house in a one off setting with a rive gauche spirit.
